RAEME Memorial

The RAEME Association Queensland will be erecting a Memorial dedicated to all RAEME soldiers, both Regular and Reserve who have served within the RAEME Units stationed at Bulimba Queensland, since 1945.

This Memorial will be erected in Tugalawa Park which is located adjacent to the current entrance of Bulimba Barracks. A dedication ceremony is to be conducted (at a suitable time to be notified) and an invitation to attend will be extended to the RAEME Family both past and present.

More information may be found on our website: http://raemeqld.org/

Any feedback on the memorial is welcome.

The March

Yet another year passes and fewer and fewer of our Diggers from the Second World War remain with us. Whilst they aren't with us in body, they march alongside us each ANZAC Day.

Brisbane put on another fine, warm day. Thousands of men, women & children lined the streets cheering those who marched. It's hard not to feel the National Pride.

One thing that must be done is to preserve the memory of all of our Diggers, not just those who fought in WWI & WWII but also those who have given the greatest sacrifice in conflicts since then.

What were your feelings on the day?
